City Lights Artists’ Co-op is a Nevada non-profit 501(c)3 corporation with more than 100 members.
Our corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code, more specifically to:
. Financially assist art education for children and seniors at community centers.
. Produce several art shows during the year to generate funding for art education.
. Maintain an art gallery for members to show and sell their work and for students to learn
how to professionally present their work.
. Provide art classes for student of all levels of art experience.
. Provide scholarships to qualified graduating high school students needing financial
assistance, toward a higher education in a 4 year or 2 year college.
Every individual should have access to art and culture in their daily lives. It's our goal to provide a link between art enthusiasts and the artists themselves.
City Lights Art Co-op is open to all. Our membership fee is $40.00 per year. Click here for out application form. Those wishing to exhibit their art at the gallery pay a fee based on the space needed. The cost of a full panel or half panel is $40.00 and $20.00, respectively for a 3 month period. A full panel is 1900 sq inches or about 44"x44". Persons currently hanging are required to volunteer at the gallery one day per month for a full panel and a half day for a half panel. We offer substitute sitters who may be compensated by you in a private transaction if you do not wish to volunteer your personal time.
